Conversation Space 101
Sep. 12th, 2018 06:06 pmWhat you can call them: Fortuna (not that she’ll object to Felicia, either)
What their conversation space looks like: The room is perfectly round, and ringed with shelves; the shelves are full of either games of chance or music media storage of all types. There’s one break in the shelving, and that’s for what looks like the command center of a broadcasting booth. Where it’s broadcasting to isn’t apparent, nor is whether it’s active at the moment. Items on the shelves tend to be in groups of three, seven or ten, and are predominantly red or blue.
A card table bisects the room, with two comfortable-looking armchairs on either side. On the side Travelers arrive in, there’s a mini-fridge, stocked with a completely random assortment of drinks.
What can you expect from Arcana Chats: Fortuna likes surprises, and Travelers are nothing if not full of them. She’s very new to the ‘Travelers are people’ camp and still figuring out just how that works - but she’s also the first to say any loopholes in Synodiporia’s rules are there for the express purpose of being exploited. She’s planning to exploit the shit out of them, and you should too. She’s big on game metaphors and knows a little bit more about previous cycles of this particular game than some of her fellows (if you want a lot of detail, Death and Hermit are still your best bet, but cycles are in her idiom). She is not the World any longer, but this one is still set up in her likeness. She has yet to commit to a plan for if she wins Synodiporia a second time, at least where anyone can hear.
For OOC answers to specific questions or actions your Traveler might take during this first meeting, please leave an OOC comment on this entry, checking to make sure it hasn't already been answered.
